At Braze, we have found our people. We’re a genuinely approachable, exceptionally kind, and intensely passionate crew.
We seek to ignite that passion by setting high standards, championing teamwork, and creating work-life harmony as we collectively navigate rapid growth on a global scale while striving for greater equity and opportunity – inside and outside our organization.
To flourish here, you must be prepared to set a high bar for yourself and those around you. There is always a way to contribute: Acting with autonomy, having accountability and being open to new perspectives are essential to our continued success.
Our deep curiosity to learn and our eagerness to share diverse passions with others gives us balance and injects a one-of-a-kind vibrancy into our culture.
If you are driven to solve exhilarating challenges and have a bias toward action in the face of change, you will be empowered to make a real impact here, with a sharp and passionate team at your back. If Braze sounds like a place where you can thrive, we can’t wait to meet you.
As Head of Legal Operations, you will lead Legal Operations at Braze. You will report to the SVP, Legal, Privacy & Ops and work as a strategic partner to the General Counsel and legal leadership. You will own the strategy, roadmap, technology architecture and data behind how our global legal department works: how work comes in, where our time and money go, what systems we run, and how we apply AI and automation to legal work.
This is a builder's role. Our legal team runs on an established stack (Salesforce, Ironclad, Jira and JSM, OneTrust), and there is a funded appetite to go further: structured contract and spend data, deeper automation, and AI in production. Some of this foundation is solid and some needs rebuilding. You will be responsible for what we build, buy, negotiate and retire, and you will be accountable for the results.
You will be as comfortable presenting spend and resourcing trends to the GC as you are specifying an integration with a systems admin. You will also build and lead a small team, starting with a Legal Operations Analyst you will recruit, manage and develop. The role works with legal and business teams across our offices globally.
This is a great opportunity to join a leading technology company that is growing quickly and scaling wisely. We're looking for an enthusiastic individual, team-player and quick thinker who will care deeply about the employee experience and is able to enjoy and contribute to fostering a positive work culture.
