The Senior Construction Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful execution of assigned projects and the achievement of the project’s scope, schedule, and financial requirements and metrics. Their primary responsibilities are to build and lead the project team and to plan, direct, coordinate, and budget activities concerned with specific construction projects.
The Senior Construction Project Manager is also responsible for ensuring compliance with corporate Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and Construction Quality Control policy for all assigned projects.
The Senior Construction Project Manager shall have experience managing at-risk construction projects ranging from $15M to $50M or more in size. Willingness to travel for project assignments is a plus. Experience in aerospace, defense, and manufacturing design and construction a plus.
Knowledge of heavy industrial structural modifications, including high-capacity overhead crane rail installations and high-tolerance floor alignments.
Experience managing complex rigging and heavy-lift operations in vertical integration environments near high-value flight hardware.
Understanding of the "Assured Access to Space" (AATS) security umbrella, including the construction and management of SCIFs (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities) per ICD 705 standards.
Experience navigating government site logistics, including personnel badging, secure communications infrastructure, and mission-critical "Stop Work" launch window protocols.
Well versed in corrosion control requirements for C5-M coastal environments, specifically NACE/AMPP standards for high-performance coating systems.
Knowledge of specialized materials and safety requirements for working near cryogenic propellant systems (LOX/LH2), including oxygen-compatible materials and non-sparking protocols.
Management of concrete restoration and durability projects, including the application of cathodic protection in highly corrosive salt-air environments.
Ability to coordinate with government agencies (USSF, NASA) and commercial launch providers to ensure mission assurance and site safety compliance.
