The Sanford College of Education at National University is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Assessment and Accreditation to lead assessment, accreditation, and continuous improvement efforts across a growing portfolio of credential and non-credential academic programs.
This director-level role reflects the College's growth and commitment to advancing student learning outcomes, academic quality, and accreditation excellence. As the College's primary assessment and accreditation leader, you will collaborate with faculty, academic leadership, curriculum teams, instructional designers, and university partners to ensure compliance with state, regional, and national accreditation standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Dean of the Sanford College of Education with a strong working and reporting relationship to the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs , the Director of Assessment and Accreditation serves as the college's subject matter expert for assessment, accreditation, student learning outcomes, and program effectiveness.
This role will oversee assessment and accreditation activities for credential and non-credential programs and serve as the primary liaison between the College and university offices responsible for assessment, institutional research, accreditation, and curriculum governance.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in guiding faculty and program leaders through assessment planning, accreditation reporting, program reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with university, state, and accreditation expectations.
