Position Summary:
The Associate Scientist participates in cellular assay development, validation, and execution including sample analysis in a timely manner. This position requires a Tuesday through Saturday work schedule to support cellular activities and maintain operational continuity. Performs assays according to SOPs and supports development of new procedures and improvement of existing SOPs.
May serve as a Clinical Laboratory General Supervisor, when qualified and designated, providing day-to-day oversight of testing activities in accordance with CLIA/CAP, ISO and NY laboratory policies.
