The VP, Segment CIO, Pharmacy, is a member of the Pharmacy executive leadership team. As such, this individual will provide strategic and operational leadership. The CIO’s duties include overseeing the IT Department, assessing current business needs, optimizing or creating new processes to facilitate effective solution delivery and support, making recommendations related to acquisitions and divestitures, making the appropriate buy/build/partner decisions,and directing the executive team on the how Information Technology advances their
business. The CIO is also responsible working cross functionally across the enterprise to ensure Pharmacy Technology is highly resilient, secure and robust. This role is responsible for managing key business and IT vendor relationships and is the IT Leader that interacts with Key Externals Partners, Clients, and Customers.
