From TensorWave's posting. “We” and “our” refer to the employer.
Our mission is simple: deliver seamless, secure, reliable, and resilient AI compute at scale. We've built a versatile cloud platform that eliminates infrastructure barriers, empowering builders to focus on innovation instead of fighting their stack. Because breakthrough AI should move at the speed of ideas, not infrastructure.
Data Center Integration turns delivered hardware into installed, cabled, power-on racks ready for cluster bring-up.
We’re looking for a Data Center Build & Deployment Intern to join our team during an exciting phase of growth. In this role, you will work inside that machine on live builds: receiving and staging racks, running installation quality checks against our port maps and standards, tracking throughput, and finding the bottleneck that slows the next build down. You will finish the program having shipped a deployment dashboard the team uses and a cycle-time improvement with numbers behind it.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
This internship is open to three kinds of candidates. We evaluate all three against the same bar and none is a second-tier track.
Current students
Engineering technology, construction management, industrial or electrical engineering, logistics or supply chain, or IT programs. Hands-on project, club, or job experience (Formula SAE, Habitat builds, trades work) counts heavily.
Transitioning service members and veterans
Technical, maintenance, construction, electrical, or logistics backgrounds map directly. Examples: Navy EM, ET, and Seabee ratings (CE, UT, BU); Army 12-series engineers, 91-series maintenance, 92-series logistics; USMC 11-series utilities and 04-series logistics; Air Force 3E civil engineering and 2S materiel management. Navy nuclear operators are especially welcome.
Professionals returning after a career break
Prior work in construction, facilities, field service, logistics, manufacturing, or IT operations. Project or operations managers returning from a break are a strong fit for the throughput and process work.
One of: current enrollment in a relevant program; military experience in a technical, maintenance, construction, electrical, or logistics specialty; or 2+ years of prior work in a field listed above.
Comfort with physical, on-your-feet work in loud, temperature-variable data halls, including lifting up to 50 lb with or without reasonable accommodation.
Working spreadsheet skills (Excel or Google Sheets): you can turn a messy log into a clean weekly count.
Reliability and checklist discipline: you do the step as written, and you flag when the step is wrong.
Ability to meet colocation site access requirements, including a background check.
Able to travel to Data Center sites, between 30 to 50% site time during build windows.
