Structural Steel Field Surveyor

$30/hour, higher depending on experience
Position Overview
We are hiring a Field Surveyor to support structural steel construction throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. This position focuses on field layout, measurements, alignment, and survey work during steel installation. Regular travel to active construction sites is required.
Responsibilities: Perform field measurements and collect survey information for structural steel projects.
Establish and verify building control lines, column locations, and anchor rod positions.
Check elevations, embed placement, and structural alignment.
Prepare and maintain as-built drawings based on field conditions.
Provide layout and alignment support during structural steel erection.
