Paralegal, Corporate & Regulatory Compliance
Remote (U.S.) |
Senior Legal Operations Manager
At Midi Health, we are redefining healthcare for women in midlife. Our virtual care model connects patients with specialized clinicians, and our growth depends on a legal foundation that is organized, accurate, and built to scale.
We are seeking a Paralegal, Corporate & Regulatory Compliance to support Midi’s legal team across regulatory filings, entity management, equity administration, and finance coordination. This role will help keep Midi and its affiliated professional entities in good standing across many states. It will administer our equity program and serve as a key liaison between Legal and Finance.
The ideal candidate is a detail-driven, proactive paralegal who brings structure to recurring deadlines, owns their work from intake to completion, and knows when to escalate to an attorney. This role works closely with the legal team, Finance, People, Clinical Operations, outside counsel, and service providers.
Excellent attention to detail: You know the importance of proofreading, accuracy, and consistency in filings, records, and communications.
A strong sense of urgency: You thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment and never let a deadline slip.
A problem solver with sound judgment: You take ownership of questions sent your way, whether from Finance, an employee, or a service provider, and you understand when attorney escalation is needed.
An organized, proactive project manager: You can manage many recurring obligations across multiple entities and jurisdictions, and you build frameworks to execute them reliably.
Excellent written and verbal communication: You write clear issue summaries and explain processes simply to non-lawyers.
Curious and eager to learn: You believe technology can make legal work better and help the team serve the business.
Confident with people at all levels: You work comfortably with executives, finance leaders, clinicians, employees, and outside advisors.
Comfortable with ambiguity: You ask thoughtful questions and focus on details while understanding the legal team’s broader priorities.
Discreet: You handle confidential corporate, equity, and personnel information with professionalism.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as a corporate paralegal at a law firm, in-house legal department, or both.
Hands-on experience with entity management across multiple states, including annual reports, foreign qualifications, and registered agent coordination.
Hands-on equity administration experience using Carta, Shareworks, or a similar platform.
Experience working with Finance on audits, tax filings, equity reporting, or legal spend.
Healthcare, digital health, or other regulated-industry experience is a strong plus, particularly with professional entities or healthcare licensing filings.
Experience at a venture-backed or high-growth company is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred.
Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, Slack, and e-signature platforms.
Comfort with entity management systems, CLM tools, and AI tools is a strong plus.
Compensation
The base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $135,000 annually. Final compensation will depend on experience, skills, and qualifications. This role is eligible for equity and benefits.
