LAYIQ - Environmental Health & Safety Manager at Teledyne FLIR

Associates degree in Occupational Safety and Environmental Sciences (or equivalent) and 5+ years of experience of EH&S in a manufacturing setting or Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety and Environmental Sciences (or equivalent) and 1+ year of related experience
Intimate knowledge of OSHA regulations
Previous experience with program development and management, including: LOTO, Accident Reporting, Accident Investigation, Fire Safety, Fall Protection, and Electrical Safety is preferred
Experience with EHS internal auditing/corrective action development is preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to partner with management and staff.
Ability to work with various computer programs to manage data reporting & tracking
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Physical requirements: Ability and flexibility to support multiple site manufacturing facilities (Trenton and Montgomeryville) to maintain, implement, and coordinate safety programs, training, etc.
This position is a physically active role – must have the ability to climb ladders for roof access
Must be able to conduct daily and weekly audits walking and/or standing in facility up to 8 hours per day
Must be able to push and/or pull carts up to 50 lbs.
Must be willing and able to do other duties as assigned
Citizenship requirements: Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a U.S. Citizen
