Ensure portfolio priorities remain aligned to customer needs, market conditions, and company objectives.
Partner with executive leadership on portfolio planning, resource allocation, and growth initiatives.

Monitor market performance and adjust priorities based on customer, competitive, and business signals.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Finance, and executive leadership to maximize portfolio performance.
Innovation & Commercialization
Partner closely with innovation and technical leaders to evaluate emerging opportunities and bring successful concepts to market.
Establish clear criteria for deciding when innovations should be productized, scaled, partnered, deferred, or discontinued.
Drive the transition from concept to validation, productization, commercialization, and growth.
Ensure innovation investments generate meaningful customer value and measurable business outcomes.
Leverage AI and automation opportunities where appropriate to accelerate growth, differentiation, and operational effectiveness.
Customer & Market Leadership
Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
Ensure customer insights, market intelligence, and competitive signals directly inform portfolio decisions.
Champion customer outcomes throughout the product lifecycle.
Drive positioning, differentiation, and commercialization strategies that strengthen market performance and competitive advantage.
Help shape compelling narratives that connect product capabilities with customer and business outcomes.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Align Product Management, Product Marketing, AI Innovation, Technical Leadership, and Design & Research around a shared portfolio strategy.
Lead and coach senior Product Management and Product Marketing individual contributors to drive aligned execution and outcomes.
Foster strong alignment between product investments, customer needs, technical capabilities, and commercial execution.
Create clarity around priorities, tradeoffs, ownership, and success measures.
Influence across functions without relying solely on formal authority.
Executive Leadership
Present portfolio strategy, performance, opportunities, and risks to executive leadership.
Contribute to strategic planning, investment discussions, and long-term growth initiatives.
Support customer briefings, analyst interactions, industry events, and thought leadership activities when appropriate.
Help communicate the role of the portfolio within the company's broader product, AI, and growth strategy.
Portfolio investments are focused on the highest-value customer and business opportunities.
Product, commercialization, and innovation efforts operate as an integrated system.
