LAYIQ - Sr. Java L3 Support Engineer at Toshibaglobalcommercesolutions

As part of this role, you will work closely with both L2 and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, write functional and design documents, develop application software, analyze vulnerabilities, and oversee service improvement. L3 support engineers receive requests from customers around the world to perform deeper problem determination analysis and bug fixing.
Naturally to be successful in this role, you must have and know of: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
At least 6 years of professional experience in Software Development or L3 support roles using Java.
Experience in microservices architectures, including cloud/web-based content.
Strong problem-solving skills and self-driven.
Performance-driven mindset and ability to identify and meet KPIs.
Capable of writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code and troubleshooting/debugging current applications.
Can quickly triage and document and provide root cause analysis for customer reported issues.
Experience communicating at different technical levels, from the application architects to the end user.
Tech stack: Java, Spring, SpringBoot, Git, Maven, Docker, MongoDB, CI/CD pipelines, experience with cloud.
English: Fluent (B2 at least).
Preferred skills: Leadership skills.
Experience working with international customers.
Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with retail applications.
Frontend experience: JavaScript, Vue.js, NodeJS, TypeScript.
Linux & Windows.
Selenium/Cucumber.
