What you'll do:
The Field Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations and coordinating successful execution of assigned construction projects. This role works closely with customers, contractors, field personnel, and internal teams to ensure materials, schedules, quality standards, and project requirements remain aligned throughout construction. The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and comfortable making decisions in an active construction environment while managing multiple projects and priorities.
Field Project Management
Oversee day-to-day field activities for assigned construction projects
Monitor project progress to ensure work remains aligned with schedules, specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations
Coordinate project requirements between field personnel, contractors, customers, and internal teams
Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress and identify potential concerns
Verify completed work aligns with project plans, specifications, and established quality expectations
Manage multiple active projects and changing priorities simultaneously
Support projects through completion and closeout
Scheduling and Project Coordination
Coordinate field schedules, project milestones, material requirements, and other resources needed for successful execution
Monitor upcoming work and proactively identify scheduling or material concerns
Communicate schedule changes and project priorities to appropriate stakeholders
Coordinate with internal teams to support timely delivery and availability of materials
Adapt project plans as field conditions, schedules, or customer requirements change
Maintain accurate project information and provide timely project updates
Jobsite and Contractor Coordination
Maintain regular communication with contractors, customers, field personnel, and other project stakeholders
Coordinate jobsite activities to support efficient project execution
Confirm site readiness and address conditions that could affect scheduled work
Identify and resolve field issues promptly and escalate significant concerns when necessary
Build productive working relationships with customers, contractors, and field teams
Serve as a primary field resource for project-related questions and concerns
Quality and Materials
Ensure materials and completed work align with project specifications and requirements
Monitor material availability and coordinate project-specific delivery needs
Identify damaged, missing, incorrect, or insufficient materials and coordinate resolution
Monitor workmanship and quality throughout project execution
Help resolve material or installation issues that could affect schedule or customer satisfaction
Support project completion and punch-list activities as required
Safety and Operational Excellence
Promote and enforce company safety policies and procedures on active jobsites
Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate corrective action as appropriate
Ensure field activities are completed in accordance with applicable safety requirements
Promote accountability, quality, productivity, and professionalism across assigned projects
Identify opportunities to improve field processes, project coordination, and operational efficiency
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Previous supervisory or field leadership experience preferred
Experience coordinating contractors, field crews, customers, and material deliveries
Knowledge of doors, millwork, installation, or related building products is a plus
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and other common business or project-management technology
Work Environment and Requirements
Work is performed primarily at active construction jobsites and other field locations
Frequent travel between assigned project sites may be required
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout construction sites for extended periods
Ability to bend, climb, reach, and safely navigate stairs, uneven surfaces, and active construction areas
Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials as required
Frequent outdoor work and exposure to varying weather and active construction conditions
Required PPE must be worn while on active jobsites
Extended hours or occasional Saturdays may be required based on project schedules and business needs
