Job Description
At General Motors, our product teams are redefining mobility. Through a human-centered design process, we create vehicles and experiences that are designed not just to be seen, but to be felt. We’re turning today’s impossible into tomorrow’s standard —from breakthrough hardware and battery systems to intuitive design, intelligent software, and next-generation safety and entertainment features.
Every day, our products move millions of people as we aim to make driving safer, smarter, and more connected, shaping the future of transportation on a global scale.
Global Manufacturing Electrical & SDV is looking for innovators who thrive in tough challenges and are passionate about tackling meaningful work that will shape the future of the automotive industry. This isn't a role for those looking for an easy path. It's for those who embrace change, push through obstacles, and take ownership of complex problems. While there will be long days and moments that test your resilience, you'll find purpose in your work, flexibility to prioritize your family, and the support of a people-first culture.
If you're ready to grow, thrive, and make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
This Role Is Ideal For Program managers who enjoy leading complex initiatives, aligning diverse stakeholders, and driving operational outcomes across manufacturing environments. You'll thrive in this role if you can bring structure to ambiguity, influence without authority, and help teams deliver critical business objectives.
WHY
Help improve the quality and reliability of GM vehicles by supporting defect prevention, warranty reduction, and Electrical First Time Quality (EFTQ). Your work will directly support vehicle launches, manufacturing readiness, and the successful implementation of electrical systems across GM's global manufacturing network.
As a Program Manager, Global Manufacturing Electrical & SDV, you will lead programs and strategic initiatives that support manufacturing operations, vehicle launches, and plant readiness activities. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage program execution, and drive measurable business outcomes across engineering, manufacturing, software, IT, quality, and operations organizations.
HOW
Partner with stakeholders across manufacturing, engineering, quality, software, IT, suppliers, and plant teams to execute program plans, manage risk, resolve issues, and ensure successful delivery of business objectives.
Work Arrangement – Onsite

This role requires up to 25% domestic and international travel.
This position may be filled with a Senior Program Manager or Program Manager. The level for this role will be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
Experience supporting manufacturing operations, plant readiness, vehicle launches, or implementation events.

Familiarity with PMO governance, stage-gate reviews, change management, risk management, and lessons learned processes.
