LAYIQ - Sr. Propulsion Engineer at Blue Origin

10+ years proven experience with aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle component/assembly design, manufacturing, and test.
5+ years in project or program management
Strong mechanical design skills, including initial sizing/analysis/calculations.
Advanced skills in CAD and large assembly model management and configuration (Creo Parametric and Windchill PLM preferred).
Mastery of GD&T implementation and analysis (ASME Y14.5).
Strong knowledge of aerospace materials, treatments and manufacturing.
B.S. degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired: Experience with design, production, and assembly in disciplines such as: rocket engines, jet propulsion, aircraft, spacecraft, oil & gas, automotive, naval, nuclear, or heavy equipment.
Continuous improvement process experience (DMAIC, PDSA, etc.)
Experience with cryogenic fluids and oxygen compatibility.
Experience with production quality management systems. Experience transitioning products from development to production.

Base Pay Range for: WA applicants is $145,188.00 - $203,263.20

Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
