How we onboard • You will participate in a comprehensive and selective rotation on client teams to build your pension knowledge and develop a deep understanding of pension processes and concepts needed to support employees. • As you gain knowledge and expertise, your time directly consulting with employees will increase with correspondingly decrease in ongoing plan work – although that will not disappear entirely • You will receive customer service training What the day will look like: As a Pension Specialist, consulting services
directly to client’s employees and survivors. You will make an impact in others’ lives by working with our client’s employees to help them understand their pension plans and to meet their retirement goals. Daily Responsibilities: • Respond to member calls and facilitate member requests. • After onboarding is complete, you will have some ongoing pension team responsibilities that will be assigned based on your performance and team needs.
These might include: sending participant correspondence, completing payment elections, interaction with trusts and teams to ensure accurate payment reporting and benefit calculations and data maintenance. • Support may also include short-term, high-volume projects • Available to help participants a minimum of 3 hours a day and up to 6.5 hours per day. • You will be on-time to best support our clients and responsive and positive to internal team members.
• Provide accurate and complete notes documenting caller’s requests, concerns and follow ups. • Opportunities exist for high performers to grow into roles that have increased technical difficulty • Maintain current knowledge of client specific plan provisions and broaden knowledge of defined benefit administration rules. • Attend training to keep up to date on relevant legislative or client changes Skills and experience that will lead to success: • Undergraduate degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
• Basic spreadsheet (i.e. Excel) knowledge • Mathematical proficiency. • Bilingual language skills- Spanish A summary of all the benefits offered for this position The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $58,000-$62,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
