LAYIQ - Ice & Maintenance Manager at Legends Global

Skills and Abilities: · Good organization skills
· Good oral, written and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work irregular hours, shifts that include nights, graveyard shift, weekends and holidays
· Knowledge of electrical systems as it relates to maintenance.
· Skill in mechanical maintenance.
· Ability to recognize and use simple hand-held, manual and power tools needed for performance of general maintenance duties.
· Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time on the hard-surface floor.
· Ability to work with minimum supervision and understand verbal and written instructions.
· Ability to lift 50 pounds.
· Ability to operate a forklift.
Education and/or Experience: · High School Diploma required, or 2 years of comparable experience plus required related experience may be considered in lieu of diploma.
· Bachelor's Degree from technical college with major in Management or Maintenance Engineering preferred.
· Must have direct experience building and preparing ice for skating.
· Two (2) years’ experience operating and maintaining building mechanical systems to include HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire and life safety related experience in lieu of ice experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: · Possess any licenses, certificates or training required by local, state, or national authorities for the operation of the equipment found in the facility. Previous experience in operating the following equipment preferred: Genie Lift, Forklift, JLG Boom-lift, Man-Lifts as well as other motorized lifting equipment.
· Will consider any of the following EPA Certifications: TYPE I, II or III; or technical training in HVAC; or Apprentice Electricians License.
