LAYIQ - Director, Trade Marketing at Whoop, Boston, MA

10+ years of experience in global trade marketing, shopper marketing, retail marketing, omnichannel marketing, or a related discipline, including meaningful experience leading teams in a global or multi-market environment.
Proven people leader with experience building, developing, and empowering high-performing teams across global markets.
Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to bring together diverse cross-functional stakeholders, create alignment without relying solely on authority, and move complex initiatives forward.
Strong understanding of the global retail and omnichannel landscape, with experience developing marketing strategies that connect digital retail, physical retail, retail media, product launches, promotions, and brand activity.
Strategic and commercially minded, with the ability to translate company objectives into clear priorities for teams while remaining close enough to execution to identify barriers and unblock the organization.
Strong analytical and financial acumen, with experience managing significant marketing budgets, evaluating performance, and using consumer, retailer, and sales insights to make investment and prioritization decisions.
Comfortable operating in a fast-growing, highly cross-functional environment where priorities evolve quickly and success requires both building scalable processes and solving immediate business challenges.
Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.
This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
