The Electrical Hardware Engineer - Avionics for Voyager Lunar Systems is responsible for design, manufacturing, testing of electrical hardware and avionics components used across all product lines.
The position reports to the Electronic Systems Manager and is part of Voyager Lunar Systems based in Pittsburgh, PA. This role is hybrid based in Pittsburgh, PA.
Design PCBs for spacecraft’s primary and secondary avionics systems.
Perform trade studies on electronic components and select the best options for engineering and flight avionics units.
Develop test procedures for component, board-level and system-level integrated testing.
Programming embedded systems, FPGAs, microcontrollers, computer processors, graphic processors, or similar.
Implement the full systems engineering development cycle, and regularly report to the Avionics Lead on progress.
Support hardware-in-the-loop testing with engineering and flight systems.
Write and present technical reports.
