Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Faculty Position - Assistant Attending Position, Leukemia Service
The Leukemia Service in the Division of Hematologic Malignancies, Department of Medicine, is seeking a full -time faculty member at the assistant attending level to serve as an academic-clinician on the inpatient Leukemia Service at MSK on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The successful candidate will attend for half of the year and lead a team of experienced advanced practice providers on one of the three inpatient Leukemia Services.
Although not a requirement for the position, candidates who are interested will have ample opportunity to participate in and lead clinical and translational research projects.
Role Overview
Inpatient attending on the Leukemia Service
Teach residents and fellows
Leadership on unit based inpatient council
Opportunity to conduct high impact quality improvement, clinical, or translational research projects
Key Requirements
M.D., D.O., or equivalent
Board eligible or board certified in Medical Oncology
New York and/or New Jersey State License Eligible
Certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Child Abuse Identification & Reporting

Inquisitive and thrives in academic environment
Collegial and able to communicate effectively with colleagues and clinical staff.
