LAYIQ - 2nd Shift Quality Inspector II (2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.) at Crown Holdings

In addition to the specific responsibilities listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following:
Minimum Requirements
Must successfully complete and pass the Combined Basic Skills and Inspection & Measurement Skills assessments.
Demonstrate knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures utilized in a Quality Control environment.
Candidates must meet minimum skill requirements, have the physical ability to perform the work, and have a work record consistent with Article 14.0 of the labor agreement to include no disciplinary suspensions, safety violations, or final warning per the Attendance Policy in the last 9 months.
Preferred Requirements
Knowledge of use of micrometers, calipers and other inspection equipment preferred.
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment in a quality inspector role.
Competencies
Effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with all levels of plant and company management.
Ability to be observant and analytical, strong focus and attention to detail, thoroughness and dealing with complexity.
Ability to work independently or with a team.
Experience with computer software and working knowledge of various computer programs (Excel, Word, Access, AS400, etc.)
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
The associate may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus
Working Conditions
Generally works in a manufacturing environment but will be required to perform some job duties inside a typical office setting
While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic
The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures
The noise level is frequently loud
