The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is a leading institution focused on cancer care, research, education, and prevention. The Financial Analyst role supports the Social Work department by providing comprehensive financial management, operational reporting, reconciliation, forecasting, and fiscal stewardship services that enable effective management of departmental resources and donor funds.
Within UT MD Anderson, the Financial Analyst serves as a key financial partner to department leadership, helping guide budgeting, reporting, compliance, process improvement, and data-driven decision making. The Financial Analyst collaborates closely with operational and finance stakeholders to support sound fiscal management and institutional objectives.
The ideal candidate for this Financial Analyst role holds a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field and brings experience in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliation, operational reporting, and financial analysis. Preferred experience includes supporting clinical operations within a healthcare environment, developing financial reports and dashboards, and utilizing tools such as Excel, Power BI, SmartView, PeopleSoft, OBIEE, and CRM systems.
Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and process improvement skills are highly valued.
Minimum $68,500 - Midpoint $85,500 - Maximum $102.500
