The Hoag Diabetology Fellowship in Newport Beach, California, is the first program of its kind in Southern California, offering immersive, hands-on training in advanced diabetes technologies, complex patient care, and innovative treatment models - all within Orange County’s leading healthcare system.

This one-year program, recognized by the American College of Diabetology, is led by Program Director David Ahn, MD, alongside a distinguished faculty known for their excellence in diabetes management, cutting-edge research, and medical education.

Eligibility

Applicants must have completed an ACGME Accredited Internal Medicine Residency and be board eligible or certified in Internal Medicine.

Applicants must be eligible to obtain an unrestricted California medical license prior to the beginning of fellowship training.
