Employer job description
From NOX METALS's posting. “We” and “our” refer to the employer.
Production Supervisor | Nox Metals | Ferndale, MI
About Nox Metals.
American factories deserve a supply chain that moves as fast as they do. Nox Metals is building it, along with the tools that run it. We’re a technology company in Metro Detroit supplying aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to aerospace and defense manufacturers. We use software and automation to supply metal to American factories faster than the industry thought possible.
The role.
We're hiring Production Supervisors to run our floors in Ferndale. Every order Nox ships starts on the floor, and you will own your shift: safety, quality, and output. You set the pace, assign the work, and train the people who run our saws. When a machine goes down or a job runs late, you are the first call and you fix it.
Part of your shift is leading: coaching your team, enforcing the standard, and passing a clean handoff to the next lead. The other part is hands on: you run the equipment and know every job on the floor. You start by learning every station in the building, and you report to the General Manager.
