LAYIQ - 2027 Co-op Downstream Purification & Process Characterization (IOPS) at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals

Support purification and raw material characterization methods used to isolate, concentrate, and de-risk biologic drug substances
Conduct filtration and separations studies to establish reusable filter lifetimes
Investigate opportunities to extend hold times for filtration equipment
Establish acceptable reuse limits for filtration membranes used in antibody concentration and purification
Study raw material risk factors, including nitrosamine clearance and formation
Support hands-on purification and filtration operations
Contribute to nitrosamine risk assessment development
Document results that directly support regulatory filings
Relevant majors: Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry
Let’s find out if we’re a fit : Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree (and be returning to school the semester following the position or graduating after the position)
Must be able to commit to 40 hours per week from January-August, May/June-December, or August-December
Demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports, current or previous work, or within the community preferred
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
