About the Opportunity
We are interested in connecting with compensation analysts, classification specialists, HR analysts, researchers, and consultants for current and future projects.
Your experience may focus on salary benchmarking, job descriptions, job evaluation, pay structures, benefits analysis, or related HR work. Candidates from public-sector and private-sector backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Research and compare salaries, benefits, and compensation practices.
- Match positions to appropriate benchmark jobs and comparison organizations.
- Review job descriptions, duties, qualifications, and reporting relationships.
- Support job evaluation and classification recommendations.
- Analyze salary ranges, pay compression, internal equity, and market competitiveness.
- Collect, clean, and validate compensation and workforce data.
- Prepare tables, summaries, reports, and presentation materials.
- Support the development of salary structures and implementation options.
- Work with project managers and senior advisors to deliver accurate, practical findings.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in compensation, job classification, HR analysis, benefits, or workforce research.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Excel or comparable data analysis tools.
- Ability to compare roles based on responsibilities and qualifications.
- Clear written communication and the ability to explain findings.
- We welcome candidates with different levels of experience, including hands-on analysts and experienced consultants interested in technical project work.
- Preferred Experience
- Compensation or classification work for U.S. government or public-sector organizations.
- Salary surveys, market pricing, job evaluation, or pay structure development.
- Experience with HR systems, compensation databases, or statistical tools.
- Relevant HR or compensation certifications.
- Public-sector experience and certifications are preferred but not required.
