The Experience Design team at Foot Locker is a global group of designers, researchers, and writers rethinking how customers experience our brand across digital and in-store touchpoints. As a Product Designer working on our digital experiences, you'll shape end-to-end customer journeys across our digital properties—work that delivers business impact and resonates emotionally with sneaker culture.
Responsibilities Design industry-leading experiences from concept to execution for high-traffic, high-visibility features that solve customer needs and drive the business forward. Partner with multi-disciplinary teams — product, engineering, research — to translate user needs, business requirements, and platform constraints into intuitive, engaging experiences. Design cohesive experiences across digital touchpoints, accounting for customer context, platform capabilities, and business needs.
Follow a user-centered, data-driven design process to conceptualize and iterate on solutions, from sketches to wireframes to interactive prototypes. Design within our enterprise design system, and contribute reusable digital components, patterns, and documentation as the system evolves. Build accessible experiences by default, applying ADA and WCAG standards throughout your work.
Collaborate closely with engineering through design-to-code workflows, reviewing builds against design specifications and conducting QA across browsers, devices, and screen sizes. Take ownership of assigned work from discovery through release, communicating status and rationale clearly to teammates and stakeholders. Participate actively in design critiques, giving and receiving constructive feedback to raise the bar on quality.
Qualifications Minimum 2 years of product design experience focused on digital products and experiences, preferably in e-commerce or retail. Strong portfolio featuring shipped digital work, showing several projects and clearly explaining your direct contributions. Strong understanding of responsive design, interaction patterns, information architecture, and how experiences adapt across digital touchpoints. Proficiency in Figma (including components, variants, variables, and design tokens).
Working knowledge of accessibility standards and how to apply them across digital experiences. Experience designing within and contributing to a design system. Curiosity about AI-assisted design workflows and an interest in using emerging tools to accelerate exploration, prototyping, and design-to-code handoff. Comfortable partnering with engineers and understanding how design decisions translate into implementation and release cycles. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
At Foot Locker, we value innovation, authenticity, and integrity in all that we do. To uphold the security and fairness of our hiring process, we ask that candidates refrain from using AI tools, including ChatGPT, during interviews and assessments. To ensure a smooth and secure experience, please review the following guidelines: Cameras must be on for all virtual interviews. AI tools are strictly prohibited during interviews or assessments.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work together to create a transparent and equitable hiring experience.
