Director Patient Access

Summary

The Director of Patient Access is responsible for the functional oversight of the patient access areas throughout the MyMichigan Health system. This responsibility includes the management and supervisory positions within the respective areas comprising Patient Access which includes MyMichigan Health Scheduling and Patient Admitting.

Through the development and execution of strategic vision, developed through collaboration with key internal and external customers, the Director of Patient Access will bring together a group of varied employees from multiple healthcare facilities to create a united, cohesive and financially viable program that enhances the patient and family healthcare experience.

This vision includes the creation of an environment that ensures that healthcare personnel inside and outside of the healthcare system interact efficiently and successfully with all customers. Patient Access which includes Central Scheduling, Physician and Facility Credentialing and Patient Registration both on the Acute and Ambulatory side.
