The Manufacturing Process Engineer serves as the technical backbone of the Decks production line, owning the documented, optimized, and continuously improved processes that enable every technician to build with precision and confidence. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining Work Order Templates (WOTs), Standard Work Instructions (SWIs), and all associated build documentation to the highest standards in quality, accuracy to design, and efficiency.
Working in a hybrid environment—approximately 50–60% engineering workspace and 40–50% production floor—the Process ME bridges the gap between design engineering intent and manufacturing execution. This engineer leads Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews, identifies design-to-manufacturing gaps during NPI phases, and partners with Responsible Engineers to evaluate manufacturability tradeoffs.
