Job Description
Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.
The Role
As General Motors continues to expand our portfolio on our way to our Zero, Zero, Zero vision, it is more important than ever that we focus on ensuring that our vehicles are profitable in the marketplace. The Cost Optimization Engineer will focus on all aspects of cost reduction for the propulsion subsystems.
This role will involve the leadership, coordination, and management of all Propulsion Engineering cost reduction ideas through the phases of conceptualization, feasibility assessment, business case development, and execution. It will require a high level of independent judgment, initiative, creativity, and organization.
