Overview

As Director, Sales Operations, you will serve as the hands-on operator powering GumGum’s evolving revenue operating model by turning GTM decisions into structured, executable seller workflows, reliable dashboards, and trusted forecasts. Sitting directly between strategy and execution, this role requires deep technical mastery of a complex Salesforce environment alongside sharp commercial judgment to build trusted reporting and drive seamless sales planning across global regions (NA, EMEA, JAPAC).

Working closely with the VP of Sales Strategy & Operations, cross-functional leadership, and Finance, you will establish standard sales processes, optimize data taxonomies, and act as the single source of truth for revenue data—initially as an individual contributor with room to eventually lead a small team.

What You'll Achieve

• Own the end-to-end global experiential marketing and events strategy, including annual roadmaps and budget management.
• Lead the planning and execution of flagship brand activations such as POSSIBLE, CES, and Cannes, as well as regional events across North America and EMEA.
• Oversee event production, venue logistics, content capture, executive involvement, post-event reporting, and vendor contracts.
• Coach and develop a direct report while building and managing a global network of agencies, production partners, and contractors.
• Define experience KPIs tied to brand awareness, pipeline creation, client retention, and marketing-sourced revenue.
• Track and report event performance and ROI using Salesforce, internal dashboards, and post-mortem updates.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Brand, Creative, Comms, Demand Gen, and Executive Leadership to align brand standards and event goals
• Skills You'll Bring
• 8–10 years of event and experiential marketing experience, preferably in adtech or media environments.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
• Deep expertise in executing high-stakes global and regional events with executive visibility and revenue accountability.
• Technical proficiency with marketing and management tools such as Salesforce, Splash, Monday.com, and content capture platforms.
• Demonstrated skills in strategic planning, brand storytelling, immersive experience design, vendor management, and budgeting.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally for major events (e.g., CES, Cannes, POSSIBLE).
• Exceptional communication and cross-functional leadership skills with an agile, high-ownership mindset.

What We Offer

At GumGum, competitive base pay is a part of a total rewards package which also includes benefits, an emphasis on recognition, development, and wellness. The reasonable estimated base pay range for this role is from

$151,000 - $179,500 annually.

The actual amount may be higher or lower. Individual compensation will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant qualifications, work location, and labor market conditions.

Note: GumGum fosters a flexible work environment, offering GumGummers the ability to work either in-office or remotely/from home. However, for occasional in-person collaboration, we kindly ask that this position be located within a 'commutable' distance to our office.
