The (USA) Manager, Advertising Sales - Sam’s Club Connect leads strategic sales planning and execution to drive advertising revenue growth. The manager coordinates cross-functional team activities, develops sales proposals, and leverages data insights to optimize advertising solutions for suppliers. About the team:
This team drives retail media sales for general merchandise at Sam’s Club by collaborating with merchants and suppliers to develop effective media plans using Sam’s Club Connect’s unprecedented deterministic data. They create tailored media solutions across more than 20 unique categories, unlocking advertising revenue while helping members discover notable products. The team applies strong analytics, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills to deliver impactful advertising strategies. Focused on business insights and strategic sales planning, they support suppliers by aligning media offerings with market opportunities and customer needs, ensuring measurable results and continuous improvement.
What you'll do:
Lead strategic sales planning and forecasting to drive advertising revenue growth for Sam’s Club Connect.
Oversee sales qualification and pipeline development, ensuring alignment with market trends and business objectives.
Develop and present compelling sales proposals and presentations tailored to customer needs and industry standards.
Manage complex negotiations, fostering mutually beneficial agreements while protecting company interests.
Analyze business metrics and market data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to support business goals.
Mentor and guide team members to enhance performance and professional development.
