From Braveheart Bio's posting. “We” and “our” refer to the employer.
Braveheart Bio is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing therapies for patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) and other serious cardiovascular diseases. Our lead product candidate, BHB-1893, is a next-generation oral small-molecule cardiac myosin inhibitor (CMI) being developed for the treatment of obstructive HCM (oHCM) and non-obstructive HCM (nHCM).
Braveheart’s goal is to improve the treatment options for these patients by enhancing speed of onset, depth of gradient response, systolic safety, reversibility and reducing prescribing complexity.
With a proven leadership team, a strong financial foundation, and a high-value late-stage asset, Braveheart Bio represents an outstanding opportunity for ambitious, mission-driven professionals to make a tangible impact in a high-profile and rapidly evolving therapeutic area.
The Associate Director, Clinical Science will serve as a key scientific contributor within Braveheart Bio's Clinical Development organization, partnering closely with the Clinical Development Medical Directors to shape and execute the clinical and translational science strategy for BHB-1893 across the hypertrophic cardiomyopathy spectrum (oHCM and nHCM).
This role will play a critical part in preparing BHB-1893 for global Phase 3 execution and regulatory submissions. The Associate Director, Clinical Science will provide scientific leadership for protocol design and endpoint strategy, clinical data review and quality, independent analysis of clinical, biomarker, and exploratory endpoint data, and the scientific content of clinical study reports, publications, and regulatory documents.
Working cross-functionally with Biometrics, Clinical Pharmacology, Data Management, and Clinical Operations, this individual will translate complex datasets into clear scientific insights that inform program decisions, drawing on sarcomere biology and disease-specific pharmacodynamic considerations.
The role will also serve as a key clinical science point of contact for Braveheart's global co-development partnership, working closely with the partner team to support clinical data review, cleaning, and reconciliation, and ensure consistent scientific interpretation of data across global development programs. In addition, the Associate Director, Clinical Science will help represent the science of BHB-1893 externally with key opinion leaders, advisory boards, and the broader cardiovascular scientific community.
