As a Principal Technical Program Manager in Enterprise Technology, you will lead the delivery of our largest technology initiatives: enterprise system implementations, migrations, and integration programs that cut across engineering teams, business functions, and external partners. You are as comfortable in a design review as in a steering committee: you understand systems well enough to see delivery risk, and you explain it in terms the business can understand and act on.
This is a senior individual contributor role. As the business grows, so does the number of programs running at once, and leaders need one person who can tell them what is on track, what is at risk and where a decision is needed. You will also set the standard for how technical program management works in Enterprise Technology. AI tools are part of how we plan and communicate; you are expected to use them.
We are considering applicants for the Dallas location (in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays).
Organize, plan, and track ongoing technical projects and critical initiatives for the Enterprise Technology team, with a specific focus on Digital Supply Chain.
Drive daily technical execution across engineering teams, ensuring progress against design milestones, system readiness, and delivery timelines.
Translate high-level business needs into technically feasible and prioritized requirements. Ensure every initiative has clear technical definitions and delivery criteria.
Partner with engineering leads to understand technical architecture and align roadmaps with execution plans. Drive consistent decision-making by clarifying trade-offs and validating technical feasibility throughout the program lifecycle.
Identify cross team dependencies, blockers, manage risks, and proactively clear paths to execution without waiting for direction.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Backlog grooming, Sprint planning, Daily standup, Retrospectives, Demos, UAT coordination), where applicable, to lead team accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Keep partners aligned through direct and transparent communication.
Create functional and technical documentation, including process flows, APIs, and integration specs to ensure long-term maintainability and clarity.
Lead daily progress of projects and initiatives with regard to meetings, schedule, scope, and reporting.
Serve as a key liaison to facilitate planning and collaboration between teams, align on goals, identify dependencies, mitigate risks, and communicate regular updates to all team members to ensure clarity and alignment.
We get excited about candidates, like you, because...
You have 15+ years of experience within software development managing complex, technical programs in content/media, digital platforms, or SaaS.
You have Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
You have prior experience as an engineer, systems analyst, technical lead or equivalent hands-on role before moving into program delivery.
You have led at least one major enterprise system implementation or migration from planning through cutover, including the technical cutover.
You can read and question technical artifacts directly: integration designs, data-migration plans, release plans, test results.
You are an expert in program planning, critical path and dependency management, and release readiness.
You have sound judgment on when to decide, when to consult and when to escalate.
You can turn a complex program into a concise, decision oriented update.
You are hands-on with AI-assisted tools in program work, and willing to implement new capabilities into planning, analysis and documentation.
You influence senior stakeholders and engineering teams across a globally distributed organization, with planned overlap across time zones.
Programs involving financial systems, business applications or digital media workflows.
Compliance sensitive or audit controlled environments.
Programs with external vendors or implementation partners.
Why you will love working at Crunchyroll
In addition to getting to work with fun, passionate and inspired colleagues, you will also enjoy the following benefits and perks:
Receive a great compensation package including salary plus performance bonus earning potential, paid annually.
