The Historic Document Preservation Coordinator supports the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah's Cultural Resources Program by assisting with the preservation, organization, digitization, and management of historical and cultural records. Working under the direction of the PITU Cultural Resource Manager, this position helps ensure that Tribal consultation requests, archival materials, historical documents, photographs, maps, and cultural resource records are accurately maintained and preserved for future generations.
The position provides support for archival research, records management, and cultural resource documentation while adhering to Tribal laws, cultural protocols, and confidentiality requirements. This role is ideal for individuals interested in cultural preservation, archival work, historical research, and the stewardship of Tribal heritage.
Work Schedule / Position
Part-Time (up to 20 hours a week for 1 year)
