LAYIQ - Product Manager - Vice President at iCapital, New York, NY

Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for product domains supporting the onboarding, maintenance, and lifecycle management of alternative investment products.
Partner with internal stakeholders and external clients to identify business challenges, uncover opportunities, and deliver scalable solutions that create measurable value.
Lead complex cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple teams, systems, and business processes, balancing near-term priorities with long-term platform strategy.
Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through launch and iteration, including prioritization, requirements definition, testing, rollout planning, adoption monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Translate complex workflows, operational processes, and reference data requirements into intuitive user experiences and scalable, maintainable product solutions.
Define clear business and product requirements through business cases, process flows, data models, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
Partner with Engineering, Architecture, and Data teams to define scalable domain models, data structures, integrations, and platform capabilities that support long-term business growth.
Develop a deep understanding of business entities, relationships, workflows, and data dependencies while driving alignment on data ownership, authoritative sources, system boundaries, and information governance across interconnected platforms.
Identify opportunities to leverage automation, artificial intelligence, and workflow optimization to improve productivity, data quality, operational efficiency, and user experience.
Communicate priorities, progress, risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs to stakeholders and leadership while coordinating closely with the UX, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and other Product teams.
Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and drive tactical and strategic improvements while fostering ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
