Role summary:
The Manager, Account Strategy leads the development and execution of omnichannel advertising campaigns, translating client marketing objectives into effective media strategies using Walmart Connect’s platforms. This role involves monitoring campaign performance, optimizing delivery, and providing strategic insights through data analysis. The position requires collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure campaign success, while mentoring associates and driving continuous improvement.
The manager also oversees client onboarding, troubleshooting, and forecasting, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and upholding Walmart’s values to deliver impactful advertising solutions aligned with business goals.
About the team:
Our team manages the Food business portfolio, overseeing approximately 10 advertisers. The Account Strategy team collaborates closely with sales to lead the management and monitoring of Self-Serve and Managed Serve campaigns. By developing and executing advertising strategies aligned with client goals and key performance indicators, the team drives campaign optimization and growth. Leveraging data analysis and customer insights, the team delivers effective media solutions within Walmart Connect’s platforms.
This collaborative environment fosters continuous improvement and strong cross-functional partnerships to support successful advertising outcomes.
What you'll do:
Develop and execute omnichannel advertising campaigns aligned with client marketing goals.
Translate client objectives into actionable media strategies using Walmart Connect’s platforms.
Monitor campaign pacing, performance, and optimization to meet key performance indicators.
Lead campaign setup, troubleshooting, and integration across advertising technology platforms.
Analyze campaign data to generate insights and recommend improvements for growth and effectiveness.
Build joint business plans with clients using forecasting tools and customer insights.
Present campaign performance and strategic recommendations to clients and leadership.
Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to ensure campaign success.
Maintain relationships with external agencies and strategic partners to support business goals.
What you'll bring:
Proven experience in developing and executing omnichannel advertising campaigns with measurable results.
Strong proficiency in media strategy, campaign management, and advertising solutions.
Ability to analyze campaign data using digital metrics such as CPM, ROAS, and CTR to optimize performance.
Expertise in forecasting, customer insights, and building joint business plans with stakeholders.
Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills in troubleshooting ad technology platforms and campaign setups.
Strong communication skills to present strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
