Imbue is a radically different AI company.
We believe that data should belong to you, humans should come before technology, and everyone deserves to own a personal team of AI agents. We believe in a future of open agents that you can modify to do exactly what you want.
We’re building a suite of tools to make tech serve humans, and making it open source.
Some first projects include
Studio
: A custom digital HQ for building personalized software, apps, and tools
Bouncer
: A social media feed filter that removes what you don't want to see and retrains your algorithm
Sculptor
: An interface for programmers to run coding agents in parallel and stay in flow mngr
: A command-line tool for managing agents
Vet
: A standalone tool that catches AI coding mistakes and reviews full PRs
Offload
: A tool that automatically distributes your tests to run in isolated sandboxes
Latchkey
And we’re just getting started. If you’re excited about building a future with open agents, say hi!
We're supported by investors like Nvidia, Simon Last (co-founder of Notion), and Eric Schmidt (former CEO of Google), with $200M raised at over $1B valuation.
Summary
We’re looking for a technical, people-oriented builder to help people get the most out of Imbue’s products, and help us build better products in return.
You’ll be one of the closest people at Imbue to our users. You’ll help them get started, understand what they’re trying to accomplish, troubleshoot problems alongside them, and discover where our products feel magical or fall short. You’ll bring what you learn directly back to product and engineering, helping shape what we build next.
You’ll also build the community around our products: creating spaces for people to learn from each other, share what they’re building, contribute ideas, and help shape the future of our products alongside us.
This isn’t a traditional community management role. It’s part technical problem-solving, part customer success, part community building, and part product discovery.
You’ve worked in technical community, developer relations, technical customer success, solutions engineering, or another technical, user-facing role.
You’re technical enough to dig into how a product works, reproduce problems, troubleshoot with users, and communicate effectively with engineers.
You love talking to users and have a knack for getting past what someone asks for to understand what they actually need.
You can explain complicated technical ideas simply and clearly.
You’re good at building genuine relationships and communities, not just driving “engagement.”
You instinctively turn repeated problems into better documentation, tooling, product experiences, or processes.
You have strong product intuition and can distinguish an interesting anecdote from a pattern worth acting on.
You’re comfortable with ambiguity and excited to build something before there’s a playbook for how to do it.
Compensation
The base salary range for this role is $140,000–$175,000 per year.
