The Allowance for Credit Losses group is a Risk Analytics team within the Finance organization at First Citizens Bank. This team plays a critical role in measuring, monitoring and forecasting credit risk across the Company’s lending portfolios through the Current Expected Credit Loss (“CECL”) framework. By combining data analytics, current macroeconomic insights, and business insight, the team helps determine the reserves the Bank maintains for future credit losses.
