LAYIQ - CDL A Shuttle Driver at US Foods, City, OK

Key Responsibilities

Safe Transportation: Safely operate tractor-trailers between distribution centers and remote dispatch sites.
Product Transportation: Transport various foodservice products, including refrigerated, frozen, and dry goods.
Equipment Inspection: Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain safety and compliance.
Operational Support: May be called upon to perform Backhaul or Delivery Driver duties as needed.
Safety Compliance: Follow company safety procedures and applicable DOT regulations.
Adaptability: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Physical Requirements
Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions required.
Ability to safely perform the physical duties associated with operating commercial tractor-trailers.

Qualifications

Register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.*
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
Minimum of 6 months of commercial driving experience required.
Doubles endorsement required; minimum of 6 months of driving experience with doubles endorsement preferred.
Must be comfortable working overnight.
Ability to operate a manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations.
Must be able to read and communicate in the English language, including holding a conversation, understanding highway traffic signs and signals, responding to official inquiries, and entering information on reports and records.
