Click here to learn more about Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute Position Summary: The Scheduling Coordinator will communicate regularly with physicians, which may include, patients, ancillary and surgical areas to involve scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellation of single/multiple tests and procedures. Location: This role will be onsite in our OHJOI Access Center - Orlando, 32806 Schedule Summary: Full-time | Monday - Friday Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent.
One (1) year of retail, customer service or health care. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Must complete Orlando Health medical terminology course within 90 days of hire. Key Responsibilities: Provide accurate information of department/procedure specific scheduling criteria to expedite patient preparation, arrival location and time. Be proactive with all customers by actively listening, showing a caring attitude and offering alternatives when necessary.
