Employer job description
From Blue View Builder's posting. “We” and “our” refer to the employer.
Job Summary
The Vice President of Operations will serve as the key operational leader for a growing design-build residential modular home manufacturing company. Reporting directly to the CEO and COO, the VPO will oversee all day-to-day general management functions including architecture, engineering, factory operations, supply chain, production, quality control, and on-site installation processes.
This is a hands-on executive role that requires deep experience in both residential construction and manufacturing (ideally modular, prefab, manufactured housing, or off-site construction). The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, scale production capacity, ensure high-quality modular homes that meet California building codes (including Title 24 energy standards, CALGreen, and local regulations), control costs, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
This is a critical leadership position responsible for turning strategic vision into efficient, profitable execution in a fast-paced modular housing environment.
