LAYIQ - Principal UX Researcher, Moveworks at ServiceNow

Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
10+ years of professional experience in user experience research, product research, human-computer interaction, behavioral science, or a related field.
Strong grounding in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including generative and evaluative approaches, with sound judgment in sampling, survey design, experimentation, bias, validity, and data interpretation.
Demonstrated ability to analyze large or complex behavioral datasets, including product usage logs, and translate findings into actionable product insights.
Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including the ability to make complex findings clear to different audiences.
Strong collaboration and stakeholder-management skills, with experience building alignment across product managers, engineers, and designers.
A portfolio or work samples that demonstrate your research process, analytical capabilities, and influence on product decisions and user outcomes.
The nice to have: Experience conducting lean UX research in a fast-paced environment.
Experience researching AI-powered, machine learning, conversational, search, or recommendation experiences.
Experience developing or improving evaluation systems, benchmarks, rubrics, or quality metrics for AI products.
Familiarity with product analytics, experimentation platforms, data visualization tools, or statistical analysis software.
Experience using SQL, R, Python, or similar tools. Technical fluency is valued, but hands-on programming experience is not required.
For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $221,200 - $387,100
, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
