Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Intake Coordinator will coordinate all referrals received. Responsibilities include screening of clinical information on referrals to ensure that appropriate orders and discharge information is received. The Intake Coordinator will work with the Billing Dept to provide any clinical information required to obtain initial authorizations and will maintain communication regarding tracking of insurance authorizations about to expire. The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for obtaining ongoing insurance authorizations as needed.
