Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Supervisor of Security Operations I, the Supervisor of Security Operations II, the Manager of Security and the Chief Security Operations Officer, a Security Officer Professional II is responsible for promoting a safe and secure environment at Hoag properties through a variety of methods and approaches.
Security Officer Professionals will routinely employ common sense and sound judgment to troubleshoot a wide range of security related issues, striving for effective and collaborative solutions that are consistent with company policy the organization’s mission.
Security Officers at Hoag are effective communicators with strong interpersonal skills, who are service-oriented and patient focused.
The role requires response to a wide range of security related calls; these calls may involve suspicious activity occurring on Hoag properties, crimes in progress, unsafe situations related to the physical environment, traffic or parking related matters, or issues pertaining to workplace violence, for example. The role also includes auditing the serviceability of security cameras and other security related technology, managing supplies and ensuring proper procedures are followed related to contractor badge issuance.
