From Legends Global's posting. “We” and “our” refer to the employer.
Legends Global is the premier partner to the world’s greatest live events, venues, and brands. We deliver a fully integrated suite of premium services through a white-label model that keeps our partners front and center — from feasibility and project development to sales, partnerships, hospitality, merchandise, venue management, and world-class content and booking.
With a global network of more than 450 venues, hosting 20,000 events and welcoming 165 million guests annually, Legends Global brings unmatched scale, expertise, and connectivity to help our partners grow. The Legends Global Way guides how we operate: Align, Scale, Connect, Team, Win — shared success, repeatable systems, connected solutions, unstoppable teams, and wins that are earned every day.
The Vice President of Sales & Partnerships Insights will lead the insights and analytics function supporting Legends Global Sales and Global Partnerships, the teams responsible for sponsorship, premium, and ticket sales revenue across our client portfolio. This is a senior, highly visible role. You will be the analytics counterpart to our sales and partnership executives, to the venue leaders they serve, and to the clients whose revenue outcomes we are accountable for.
The role mirrors the model our Operational Insights leader has built on the Hospitality, Merchandise, and Venues side of the business. Where that function embedded analytics inside operations, you will do the same for the commercial side, standing up a consistent, scalable insights practice across a set of sales organizations that today operate with uneven data maturity. You will build the team, set the standards, and personally carry the most consequential executive conversations.
This leader will partner closely with our Central Insights function, which owns CRM, data science, AI, guest research, and other enterprise data capabilities, to ensure Consulting Insights draws on shared infrastructure and models rather than building in isolation. You will also work alongside our feasibility and consulting practice, which owns partnership valuation and market study work. The strength of this role is in the connective tissue: translating enterprise capability into commercial outcomes at the venue and client level.
This is an analytics leadership role, not a sales role. We are looking for a leader whose depth is in analytics and insights, who has applied that depth to commercial problems and can hold their own with revenue executives.
Core Skills
Executive Communication - The ability to take a complex analysis and land it in three minutes with a leader who has no interest in the methodology
Fluency in commercial analytics: pricing, forecasting, pipeline and funnel measurement, segmentation, and performance measurement
Hands-on analytical capability. SQL, Excel, Python, R, and Tableau experience is useful, though we care less about any specific tool than about the judgment to know what question to ask and whether an answer holds up
A builder's instinct. Comfort standing up a function, setting standards, and creating structure where none exists.
Commercial judgment over analytical purity, and the willingness to give a leader a directionally right answer today rather than a perfect one next month.
Credibility with sellers. This role does not work if the sales organization does not want you in the room.
A collaborative posture toward Central Insights, Operational Insights, our feasibility and consulting practice, and peer insights leaders. Leverage the enterprise, do not rebuild it.
Curiosity about how data drives revenue, partner value, and fan engagement in live sports and entertainment.
Sales and partnership executives bring you into decisions early, on pricing, deal structure, and resourcing, rather than asking for a report after the fact.
A consistent measurement and reporting standard exists across properties, so partnership and ticketing performance can be compared and benchmarked portfolio-wide.
Sponsor renewals are supported by clear evidence of what was delivered and how it performed, and valuation work produced by our consulting practice is grounded in Legends operating data rather than external assumptions.
Models and tools built with Central Insights are adopted by sales teams in their daily workflow, with measurable impact on pipeline conversion and retention.
The function is staffed, developing talent, and no longer dependent on any single person, including you, to deliver.
Compensation
Competitive salary, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
The salary range for this position is $225,000 - $245,000 (+ performance bonus)
At Legends Global, our people power every success. You’ll work alongside exceptional talent, learn from world-leading experts, and contribute to projects that set the standard across sports, entertainment, hospitality, and live experiences. If you’re driven to operate at the highest level, build with purpose, and help partners win on the biggest stages, you’ll thrive here.
Legends Global is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer, and encourages Women, Minorities, Individuals with Disabilities, and protected Veterans to apply. VEVRAA Federal Contractor.
