JOB FUNCTION
Viking is looking for a Finance and Compensation Professional to join the compensation team, which sits within Finance and reports to the Chief Financial Officer. The role is instrumental in the design and execution of the Firm’s evolving compensation processes, and will report to the Director of Compensation and Financial Reporting.
The Finance and Compensation Professional will partner closely with their manager to design and operate strategic, cross-departmental workflows, propose and refine compensation frameworks, and develop a deep understanding of the market context for compensation firm-wide. The team is also responsible for making and checking complex, critical, and often time-sensitive calculations, and for partnering closely with Human Resources, Accounting and Tax, department managers, and service providers.
