Impact Life is seeking a Prevention Specialist to lead and expand substance use prevention, early intervention, overdose prevention, education, and community outreach throughout Sussex County.
This is a community-facing position that will work with individuals, families, schools, healthcare providers, community organizations, and other partners to increase awareness, identify needs early, and connect people to appropriate resources and services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and implement community-based substance use prevention and early intervention activities.
Provide education related to substance use, overdose prevention, opioid use disorder, treatment, recovery, and available community resources.
Conduct and support Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT).
Provide overdose prevention education and support naloxone education and distribution.
Conduct outreach throughout Sussex County.
