We're building something big. Orchestration Works is a brand-new division designed to move fast, break barriers, and bring cutting-edge technology like AI and automation to life across the healthcare revenue cycle. This is where ideas don't just get tested — they get scaled. Our mission is simple: transform how we work, deliver next-level results for our clients, and lead the industry into tomorrow.
Why Orchestration Works Exists
Healthcare is changing at warp speed. To stay ahead, we're taking R+D out of the lab and putting it into real operations — quickly, intelligently, and boldly. This new division gives us the freedom and focus to experiment, learn, and deploy innovations that make a measurable impact.
A dedicated R+D powerhouse: A 50-person independent team headquartered in Austin, Texas — built to move at startup speed.
Real autonomy: Independent leadership, resources, and decision-making authority that lets us innovate without friction.
A laser focus: Revenue Cycle Management innovations powered by automation, AI, and reimagined processes — including work on advanced Administrative and Clinical Reasoning Models.
A future-ready mindset: We're here to help Ensemble evolve rapidly while protecting what makes us exceptional.
Why It Matters
The future of healthcare isn't waiting — and neither are we. Orchestration Works positions Ensemble to stay ahead of industry shifts, unlock new performance breakthroughs, and deliver smarter, faster, more reliable results for the organizations we serve.
Position Overview
Revenue Cycle Innovation Operators are the permanent operational voice inside Orchestration Works. Operators serve as subject matter experts in specific revenue cycle domains while understanding the broader end-to-end revenue cycle. They redesign workflows, identify upstream root causes, build knowledge graphs, participate in design sessions, and validate emerging automation and AI-driven models — working shoulder to shoulder with product, engineering, and AI teammates as full members of the team, not advisors.
This is a role for operators who want to change how the work is done, not just do it faster. Every initiative starts by challenging why the work is done the way it is; Operators bring the domain judgment that makes that challenge credible and the redesign real.
Core Responsibilities
Act as the domain SME while maintaining literacy across the full revenue cycle.
Identify structural root causes that drive downstream rework, friction, and leakage.
Design future-state workflows and operating models with measurable impact.
Build and maintain domain-specific knowledge graphs capturing inputs, rules, actions, and outcomes.
Participate in design sessions and rapid innovation sprints with product, engineering, and analytics teams.
Test and validate automation, ML, AI, and agentic models using real operational scenarios.
Translate SME judgment into rules, decision trees, training data, and guardrails.
Support pilots and controlled rollouts with clear success criteria and measurement.
Document operational logic and findings for reuse and scale.
Domain Focus Area - Front End (Scheduling & Financial Clearance)
Diagnose root causes of access delays, no-shows, scheduling errors, eligibility errors, authorization failures, and preventable denials.
Model decision logic for appointment types, slot optimization, prioritization, and clearance pathways across payer and service types.
Design future-state front-end workflows integrating clinical rules and capacity constraints; translate payer rules into deterministic and probabilistic models.
Test predictive and agentic clearance models for prioritization and exception handling.
