From Stitch Consulting Services, Inc.'s posting. “We” and “our” refer to the employer.
Who We Are
Stitch is the global leader in helping brands drive CRM performance through Braze and Databricks. We work with Fortune 1000 brands to design and execute martech-driven solutions and lifecycle marketing strategies that drive meaningful outcomes. Our fast-growing team spans the US, UK, and Canada.
We’re actively building the best customer relationship marketing (CRM) consultancy in the world. Not the biggest—the best. We’re looking for teammates who are energized by this challenge.
The Role
As a Databricks Analyst, you work at every layer between the data and the decision. You write the queries, make the basic data connections you need to get to the right data, and build the reporting clients run on. Then you figure out what the data is telling us about the client's business, make the recommendation, and drive it through to action. You work with enterprise marketing, data, and IT leaders to turn their Databricks investment into measurable business outcomes.
We are looking for an analyst who is hands-on and proactive. You are not just interpreting and storytelling. You are in the workspace, in the SQL editor, and in the client conversation. Our clients are handing us the keys to their data, and the Databricks team has to drive: you spot what needs doing, build momentum, and make sure every engagement has traction and keeps moving forward.
You partner closely with Stitch's Databricks project managers, architects, and data engineers, and you help shape how Stitch delivers analytics on Databricks.
Who You Are
First and foremost, you're motivated by impact. To be the best CRM consultancy in the world, we have to be motivated by performance—both in how our work drives outcomes for our customers, and for how our work drives outcomes for Stitch.
This means you're not content with status quo—you're always looking towards what's next and seeking opportunities to grow yourself, grow our customers, and grow Stitch. You have relentless standards and uphold them unapologetically. You move nimbly, take ownership, drive things forward, and make the people around you better. You're driven and can't sit still. You don't wait for momentum, you create it. When a client hands you the keys to their data, you start driving. If this sounds like you, you will thrive here.
What You'll Do
- Query and analyze client data in Databricks using SQL (and Python where needed) across silver and gold layers to answer business questions quickly and accurately.
- Make the basic data connections you need to get to the work: connect sources and set up simple ingestion, and partner with data engineers on more complex pipeline builds.
- Build and maintain dashboards, reporting, and Genie spaces that let client marketers self-serve on governed data.
- Interpret data and present clear, prioritized recommendations to marketing and data stakeholders. Examples include: customer behavior, audience performance, lifecycle health, and revenue drivers
- Drive recommendations through to action. Build the case, align stakeholders, and stay with the work until it is implemented and measured.
- Design KPI frameworks, segmentation and lifecycle strategy, identity and customer 360 support, audits, methodology contributions, and QBR/EBR participation.
- Support customer identity and customer 360 work by profiling sources, validating data quality, and testing outputs, partnering with data engineers on the build.
- Reconcile audiences and data between Databricks and activation platforms such as Braze, and find and fix the root cause when counts don't match.
- Develop audience segmentation strategies and lifecycle stage definitions using first-party, behavioral, and CRM data in the lakehouse.
- Run data audits and readiness assessments that give clients a clear, recommendation-driven view of where their data stands and what to do next.
- Present findings and recommendations to client marketing, data, and IT leaders, and participate in QBRs and EBRs alongside Client Partners.
- Partner with Databricks project managers, architects, and data engineers to keep engagements on track and surface risks and opportunities early.
- Use AI tools (e.g., Genie, Gemini, Claude) to speed up analysis, documentation, and QA.
- Contribute to Stitch's Databricks methodology: reusable queries, dashboard templates, assessment tools, and analytics accelerators that raise the standard of every client engagement.
- Manage your time to meet billable targets of 36+ hours per week.
- Obtain DBX accreditations and DBX Data Analyst certification.
- Travel up to 20% for client meetings, workshops, and onsite engagements.
What Success Looks Like
Clients see you as the person who knows their data and their business—not just someone who pulls reports. They come to you for what to do next.
You get to the data yourself. Queries, connections, and dashboards don't sit waiting on other teams.
Your recommendations get implemented, and you can point to the business results they drove.
The engagements you're on keep moving. Leadership sees momentum and traction, not stalled work.
Your queries, dashboards, and frameworks are reusable, and they help Stitch scale its Databricks practice.
Requirements
What You Bring
- Strong, hands-on SQL. You write your own queries against large datasets and don't wait for someone else to pull the data.
- Working experience in Databricks (strongly preferred) or a comparable cloud data platform such as Snowflake or BigQuery—experience with SQL warehouses, Unity Catalog, and notebooks or equivalent.
- Enough data engineering knowledge to be self-sufficient: comfortable connecting data sources, setting up basic ingestion, and working with bronze, silver, and gold data layers, without needing to be a data engineer.
- Experience building dashboards and reporting in Databricks AI/BI, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
- Experienced with analytics data design patterns such as star schema. Experience designing and building datasets following a similar design pattern is a plus.
- Independently interprets data in the context of the client's business, makes recommendations without guidance, and drives them to completion.
- Exceptional communicator who can explain technical findings to marketers and executives, and business priorities to technical teams.
- Python (PySpark or pandas) is a plus. Marketing analytics experience with CRM, lifecycle, or customer data is a strong plus.
- How You Consult
- At Senior level, you’re managing outcomes, not tasks. How you communicate and build trust determines whether clients see Stitch as a vendor or a partner.
- Translate delivery complexity into business language. Lead meetings that drive decisions, not just updates.
- Build relationships at multiple levels. Communicate effectively with C-suite, project leads, and technical teams, especially client and IT data leaders.
- Lead with the “why”. Connect the business outcome to the technical work so IT teams have a reason to prioritize and change course.
- Present risks with recommendations and tradeoffs, not just alerts.
- Navigate scope boundaries with confidence — knowing when to hold firm and when to adapt
- Own outcomes. Lead without being asked. Identify what needs doing and do it.
- Stay persistent and constructive through slow-moving IT processes. Keep momentum without burning trust.
- Tools You'll Use
- Databricks: SQL Editor, SQL Warehouses, Unity Catalog, Notebooks, basic ingestion and Jobs, AI/BI Dashboards, Genie
- SQL, Python (PySpark), GitHub
- BI platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
- Stitch’s internal AI tooling
Qualifications

- 1+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks or a comparable cloud data platform (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Demonstrated track record of turning analysis into recommendations that changed a business decision.
- Client-facing experience within an agency or consultancy required.
- Marketing, CRM, or customer data experience preferred. Databricks certification (e.g., Data Analyst Associate) is a plus.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
