This position will receive purchase requests; issue request for quotes/proposals; evaluate quotes/offers for best price, delivery, and other evaluation criteria; issue, administer and modify purchase orders; perform cost analyses and close out purchase orders; research available suppliers, set up and maintain file documentation to procurement standards and Government regulations.
Required Experience:
Bachelors and 3 years related work experience in DoD purchasing or 7 years of direct DoD purchasing experience
Required Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of the FAR.
Strong attention to detail.
Exceptional organization, and the ability to manage multiple efforts.
Desired Qualifications:
CPSR experience
